Oh Louise, you'll be pleased to hear that YES!  The RV parks are all still full, with waiting list...and it's that magical time of year where you get to see the newest developments in post-manufacture trailer insulation!

For non-residents, we have the highest rental rates in Canada (yes, higher than Vancouver and Toronto) and some people are just too disgusted for what rent "buys" that they elect to live permanently in the campgrounds.  It does get bone-chilling cold here though, dropping to -40C at night and with daytime highs around -30C, punctuated by warm snaps where it's only -25 at night.  Even a really, really nice RV isn't up to that challenge, so you can run your propane heater/generator combo all night (for which your neighbors might stab you) or you can insulate your trailer.  Right now, silver "temp wrap" insulation sealed with bright red tape, completely enveloping the RV is popular, but when I first moved here, it was all about the rigid pink panel insulation sealed with black tape.

Some people do move out to tents in the summer, but it is illegal and they risk getting ticketed by RCMP if they are caught.
