The first horse  I owned was a appy QH cross.. not sure why I need to add that she had a QH dam lol but the seller was REAL into that.. she was brave and safe,  just HOT... You know you have a hot horse when you show up to an endurance ride and yours stands out as being really HOT and Really FIT.....Or the old owner gets to a team penning event two hours early to gallop the snot out the the mare that is in EVERY damn class/team that day with different riders from 9 am to 9 pmC83366292d6e133dce958319fec04094f585783e after he showed it to buyers..

Appy's are a breed I would tell people to look out for.. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them but I see SO many adds for them that say they need an exprainced rider.. I think it's that a lot of them have hot blood in them, Or I would guess thats why... But a lot of them make really good first time horses and are really mellow..
