I have lost it on Dell. It is a long story, but I have spent about 40 hours on the phone with them over the last two years. I have had three keyboards replaced, multiple replacement computers, hard drive failures, you name it. I had to call tonight about the keyboard breaking AGAIn and kept getting sent the wrong place and ONCE MORE (for like the 15th time) they can't pull up my warranty. Very annoying, but I didn't lose my shit over this was was very polite. The time I did lose my shit was when they sent me a broken refurb that was the wrong system replacement and then would NOT take it back. They sent me another one. And that one was broken. That's when I *did* lose my shit. I just couldn't take it anymore. I had gone an entire semester and then some without a working laptop (well until I bought my little Acer). Finally after getting to executive support, I got a useable computer. Tonight I said thank you A LOT. I make it clear that I am not taking it out on the humble CSR. It's not their fault. I lost my shit on the 3rd person up the tree - a manager - because they absolutely refused to believe that this computer was broken, too.
