Most don't care, but some do. And the fact that because this was the law it COULD be used by the "some" that do, is enough reason for it needing to change. 

Yes, it's good it got changed. But it's not going to change anything nor is it a big deal to most people.

It's a big deal to the 13,000 servicemen and women who got kicked out due to DADT and can now reenlist.
