Look, in the interest of fairness, I gotta be honest; I've always thought that the guys who do the most bloviating about how evil homosexuality is are the guys who are most likely one six-pack away from going down on their next door neighbors.
But I still think the "study" is fake. I've been around academia enough to know that you can lie with statistics and buffalo people with what looks like legitimate scientific methodology but isn't. The whole of psychology is anything but exact, "hard" science. Someone started with a presupposed hypothesis and massaged ( or fabricated) the facts to make them fit.
I am not afraid of homosexuals because I know they aren't attracted to me because I'm not attracted to them.
I had a guy come on to me once. It was thirty years ago. I was blind drunk - blood alcohol of like, .3 . I was hanging around a public restroom in a city park at three AM. ( Why not just wear a sign that says; "Please bone me up the ass"?) Guy says: " You wanna try a new experience?" I'm like: "Hunh? What?" " You know - a
new experience
"( Nod. Wink.) Hunh? What?
He had to pretty much spell it out for me. Finally ........... comes the dawn. "Oh. You want gay sex." I give him directions to a gay bar. He points out that it's three AM and the place is closed. I'm like; "Sorry. Can't help you....."
But we aren't talking about me. The military is there to kill people and break their stuff. We are looking for eighteen year olds who
want
to do just that. There is a reason they don't recruit middle aged men.( Actually, a whole bunch of them.) And now we want them to be all PC and Kumbaya as well. Is that realistic? Is it fair?
