I, and my mom probably wouldn't be attracted to him, no.
The answer to that is that my mom thinks he looks wonderful, and she thinks you are a bunch of snobs because "our horses aren't perfect". (I don't, seriously I know you're right)
Thanks for your advice everyone, you can see the filly and the mare on my other post.

You said that your Mom didn't know very much about breeding and yes a horse should close to perfect if you are breeding them. Conformation faults can lead to serious issues for people down the road. Those issues can be a very expensive vet bill or a death sentence for many horses. I know- I had a horse for 10 years that had many conformation faults and I paid thousands in vet bills and training. It's just not worth it.

There are lot's of ads for free horses old & young that are lame and since horses are so expensive to keep right now nobody wants them. A horse that does not have papers only stands a chance if they are well trained.

A lot of us don't own perfect horses. Many of us have saved horses from heading to auction or show and promote the horses we have. We all need to put our personal feelings aside and work together to educate people NOT to breed their horses just because we think they are pretty. That includes people like you as well as big farms who produce 50+ horses a year. Show your mom the recent scary auction prices and pictures from Fugly's blog. Point out how many of those were colored and registered but still went to slaughter because there is just too many average horses. Talk to her about what kind of future the babies of this sire will have. You seem to be a really smart girl and hopefully you can educate her ;-)
