Horrifying as it is, I'm very glad that it was caught on surveillance so the drivers could be punished. I'm also glad that it has been discussed by Chinese citizens. Hopefully they will take something away from this accident. Not to single out Chinese citizens, I'd say the same if this occurred in America, Venezuela, or any other country.  I do wonder, however, how this situation is legally handled in China vs America.

ETA: I read the rest of the article, and found just what I expected:
