Beauty never mounted a horse that I saw but she had a girlfriend. She'd bow up and make stallion-like snuffly-grunty noises to her. The other mare loved her. In fact, I could exercise the other mare (my friend's horse) and a gelding (her sister's horse) by simply riding in the back half of the pasture. Mare loved Beauty, so would follow us while we worked, gelding loved mare and would follow the mare. Beauty & the gelding didn't like each other.

I can't remember Beauty ever being in love like that with any other horses, mares or otherwise - but the owner of the Jet's sire called me to let me know she'd never seen a horse behave quite like Beauty did, apparently she was quite the hussy.

Never attribute to malice that which can be adequately explained by stupidity.

People with true credibility and integrity don't need to tell other people how great they are. They also don't need to belittle other people to feel superior.
