She obviously felt like she was being interrogated her breeding practices. Actually, I had never thought to ask some of those questions before when I have bought a dog from a breeder. Of course, I generally already knew what breed I wanted. I typically would have requested information about a specific litter coming up or I would have told the breeder what I was looking for and asked if he/she had any litters coming up that would match it. So, my questions, consequently, would have been more specific to specific breedings/litters. She sure shouldn't blame you for doing your homework though. In the end, she probably did you a favor because you know she might not be someone you want to work with over the lifetime of a dog.
