Eh, I've had a couple dog aggressive dogs, and have no problem with them. I am perfectly capable of handling my dogs in a way that prevents interaction with other dogs, so it has never been a problem. The biggest problem I've had is with other people's dogs - the ones that run full speed towards you ignoring their owner's crys to stop. I hate those dogs and have no problems using my body and voice to keep them away. They try and jump on me- they get a knee to the chest. They try and go after my dog, they get whatever it takes to make them back off. None of my dogs would have been the ones to start a fight, but neither of them would back down if the other dog started one. However, as the owner it is my job to protect them and eliminate the need for them to feel like they must fight back to protect themselves from another dog.

I also have no problem with child aggressive dogs.

All it takes is proper management, which really isn't that hard or complicated.

And yes, CC have their share of 'unfortunate' dogs. All breeds do. For the most parts it's called poor breeding, poor socialization and poor training.
Amen to this.  And for what it's worth, I have met more aggressive Chinese Cresteds than aggressive Pit Bulls.  The CC's would also bite people, whereas the Pits just didn't like other dogs.
