Yes, it is true that words do get embedded into our (the collective "our" as society) vernacular by virtue of being used. Hence why most dictionaries started including slang terms (which is absurd). What part of my comments did you not get, NHM?

Apparently, for some, using incorrect terms (and defending the use thereof) is perfectly acceptable. *shrugs* Whatever. Be my guest, call it whatever you want!

All I stated was, it's a pet peeve of mine to call things by an incorrect name (for example, "lunge" to longe a horse, and if I also recall, THAT term appears now in some dictionaries, even though it's totally wrong, because some people started using it).
