Apparently, for some, using incorrect terms (and defending the use thereof) is perfectly acceptable. *shrugs* Whatever. Be my guest, call it whatever you want!

All I stated was, it's a pet peeve of mine to call things by an incorrect name (for example, "lunge" to longe a horse, and if I also recall, THAT term appears now in some dictionaries, even though it's totally wrong, because some people started using it).

Indeed.  Though this is a case of using terms incorrectly.  Using "hence why" is like saying "needlessly redundant" in most cases.
