Eh, I disagree on the overhorsed. I wasn't paying any attention, reins loose, relaxed and chatting with my friend and not seeing what was ahead. It was a stupid moment, and this opened my eyes to both of us needing more exposure doing trails and seeing different things.
I re-read and I worded a sentence badly. He doesn't MAKE me fall off, as in intentionally. I should have said, it's a fall I've fallen before from, one other time with him (so in my silly mind that's a consistency, since the last time I fell was Nov 2010 and was the exact same way, off the back of him lol) and from other horses. We'll do some despooking and I'll work on faster instincts if I can. Just needed to lean forward! But I tend to do the "oh it looks like I may be falling off in 0.05 seconds, let's just allow it to happen" rather than try to "save" myself. I think it's from my childhood of hurtling into jumps with horses ducking out, lol. Limp body is better than tensed body when hitting things at velocity!

oh and also, we're talking about a possible unconfirmed arab teleport spook haha.
