I didn't change my last name when we got married (still bothers the hubby a bit, but I have academic stuff in my maiden name that I need for school). Both our last names start with the same letter, they'd be really hard to hypenate. Kids (not likely) will have his name.

My coworker was married (took his name), divorced (changed back), and now remarried (took his name again) and she still has stuff with her maiden name on it, which causes issues sometimes since her last names don't match. It's such a pain from what I understand to get everything changed. My aunt took her maiden name back as well (which surprises me, I can't even spell it when they ask for my mother's maiden name).

I think I would take my name back if I had ever changed it.
