Kierababy16: Yes, but it was the front tendon the first time around. Nothing in the back of the leg was hurt. Thank god.

The last time we managed it so that the only scar was about the size of my index finger and half as thick. There was no bumpy mess. Everytime the vet came out he was shocked at how beautifully she had healed. I was sure the scar would be so minimal no one would know it was there. Round two will be the same I hope.

So I just came back from the vet and he says that I can bring her home Sunday. He walked her a bit and we discussed the plan of action. He does NOT want me to do hydrotherapy any time soon. He thinks by April she will be able to go out in a paddock for turn out with no bandage. A bit of a different course of action so we'll see. I asked him if he thought it was the exact same spot and he said that he was positive it was because he did not see ANY scars near the wound. I find this the weirdest part.

I want to really thank you all for the positive jingles. I will keep updating. Tomorrow I should have a picture of the current wound.
