I really dislike the idea of public proposals. I mean public being restaurant, game/jumbotron, skywriting, but wouldn't mind a public place that had been pre-reserved to be empty of THE public (such as the aquarium late in the day/hours), or like maybe in front of family (if done right like how my friend had), and I think it puts a lot, too much, pressure on both parties to "perform" and draws wayyy too much attention to a very intimate moment in a relationship. I would be completely shocked if someone proposed to me on a jumbotron, and not JUST shocked in a "holy shit you're proposing omg this is so exciting!" but a totally sensory overload of embarassment.... that many people omg!

Oh and I believe at Rogers Arena they do not allow marriage proposals at games. I think that's a good policy... Not sure about The Pacific Colosseum.

I hope it was staged, or that they had a talk after. Who knows what's going on there...and yeah I totally want to know haha!
