Stillgreen - first off:  Yeowch! Poor mare and poor you. Fourhoof's suggestion of the manuka honey should do a lot of good for your girl.

Also, is your horse's compensation injuries that may be occurring being addressed with chiro work & massage therapy?

Speedy healing to your horse and your bank account.

Actually the first time she had the injury, we used honey to promote granular tissue. Later on, I used Propolis which is derived from honey which is also a miracle product. Unfortunately, the only chiro that has good reviews in my horse community got kicked by a horse and broke his arm. I had hoped he'd come out at Christmas to work on her but he wasn't healed yet. When she comes home he'll be called again.
