You know, thinking from the buyers side...would you send you horse(s) back to their original owner(s) even if you did have a buy back agreement?

My THW - nope. They were nice people but didn't have that much of a clue and were scared to death to do anything with her. She lived in a barn 23+ hours a day and was fed 8+lbs of grain a day (WTF??) to stand around a do literally nothing.

Mustang - nope. Former owner couldn't catch him, his feet hadn't been done in who knows how long when I got him (he had slipper feet!). He also has Cushings so there's no way he'd ever get his meds.

QH - nope. People I got her from get her in trade for another horse and don't 'do' HQ's, they are into another breed so she'd just get passed on to whom ever and likely bred.

Pony - actually yes. The person I got him from was a sweet woman who rescued him (and another pony) from being starved to death. Though I'm not sure she is still alive, she was older when I got him almost 17 years ago. (OMG!! Where does the time go?!?)
