Well, I am no help. My current horse isn't really the horse that I want for myself but it is no fault of hers. So, I'm keeping her and modifying my riding plans for now.

Next month, I am moving her to a barn where pasture board is an option. Which means that at some point, I may put her on pasture board and on a partial lease to someone I know so that I can buy something else.

Good luck in whatever you choose to do.

Somewhere - behind the rider you've become, the long hours in the saddle,
the ribbons you didn't win, the falls you've taken, the tears you've cried,
and the horses you've given your heart to - is the little girl who fell in love
with the sport and never looked back. Ride for her.
