I woke up this morning and the usually pain around my left hip when I put weight on my left leg wouldn't go away. Usually I can 'click' it and it's then a bit achy but fine. This was like the pressure/feeling I needed to 'click' something wouldn't go away and it kept twinging (varying from mild and to flinch/limp-worthy pain) all day. Still got it. I have twisted my leg and back round in every direction imaginable and it WILL NOT 'readjust' itself. I am going to see my GP. Anyway, I want an official diagnosis of a connective tissue disorder, whether that means a genetic test or not. If I'm ever pregnant or anything, it's something I want to have on my medical record.

Will it help with the GP to point out the problems my mum has and how that's likely due to the same connective tissue disorder? (she was never offically diagnosed with one, but if you look at everything she's had go wrong it's damn shameful doctors don't pick up on these things).

Hope your issues get sorted out CK - my mum is waiting for her MRI results right now about her 2nd slipped disc and it's not a problem I'd wish on anyone.
