I don't know much about either of those two types, are they similar to ElectroBraid?

That's what we got and we're pretty happy with it. We had some put along the inside perimeter of a property we're leasing for now, as the original fencing was old barbed wire.

We just put some up in another area last fall and not long after it was installed, a large tree fell on it during a bad storm and the fence didn't break. The guy went out and cut the tree off it and it sprung back into place like new. He sent in the story/pic of it to their site to use as a testimonial.

Maybe we just have horses with really good fencing manners but I honestly don't even worry about any sort of injuries that might be incurred because they just don't go near it. They get shocked once and they tend to stay away. Plus, most of the time IF they happen to run into it, they literally bounce right off of it (so long as it's strung at the right tension and not too loose, that is).
