the electrobraid rope holds up well also the Gallagher brand Turbo Equibraid is good: http://www.gallagherusa.c...nent.aspx?mktprodid=3320
The twisted hot ropes that I've used don't have enough repetition where the conductive wires cross within the rope, so if the little wires break over time you get dead sections of fence.

There is another plastic cable/rope product called White lightning: http://www.hooverfence.co...sile/white-lightning.htm
Gallagher calls theirs Equifence: http://www.gallagherusa.c...nent.aspx?mktprodid=5544
Not sure that these require any extra special accessories for installation.

I think if a horse is going to hurt itself on fencing, it doesn't really matter what kind you have, they will find a way.

"It's really quite amazing what a horse will do for you, if he only understands what you want.
And it it's also quite amazing what a horse will do to you if he doesn't." ~ Bill Dorrance
