AP has the right of it.  I loathe the word 'headset' and the concept behind the idea.  Correct training = horse using themselves properly and the head naturally follows.

I normally don't think there is much harm in working with many different trainers, but a trainer that focuses on a headset first, is not a trainer any horse should be working with, especially when young.
