Creating a "headset" by focusing on the head and neck does nothing for your horse. Helping your horse learn how to carry themselves correctly and how to work into the bridle will create headset. Anyone who focuses on "Headset" is someone to run away from, unless they specify that they get "working on headset" by "transitions, getting a horse to carry themselves and work through their topline", etc.

That aside:
I love both of my trainers. One trailers in once a week and my regular coach rides with him. We're all on the same page. It's most excellent, and very beneficial. I enjoy it.
