I just want to add - Oreo, lessons are FUN! I feel like you're expecting them to be a waste of money and a chore. But they are really, really fun, especially trying out different horses. I own my own horses and I still take lessons on other horses. Part of learning to ride (and continuing to learn) is to try many horses, because they all have their quirks.

I guarantee you will have a blast, especially after the first few. It's a good workout too; you don't get many breaks - it's kinda like a 1 hour boot camp - and afterwards you feel really tired but the next day your muscles are like YEAH! I'M AWESOME.

If you have a horse you cannot lead and/or trailer, try hamsters.
