About the same here for beginner to intermediate ($30-40).

$40-70 for a big name or more advanced (ie if you need a horse with more buttons). (Western)

I can't speak for English in the area, been years since I had an English lesson.

Same here from what I've seen. My old trainer gave lessons at 30/hour on one of his horses (well trained) and 25/hour if your horse was in training (either on your own horse or one of is if the person's horse wasn't ready). Prices were the same regardless if you were riding alone or with someone else. The most in a lesson allowed was 3 because the arenas didn't allow for more than that safely. The place I took lessons at for the equestrian team was 35/hour in a group of 2-4, and 60 for a private 1-hr lesson. The place Archie's at now I have no clue how much lessons are. I go out and ride with the trainer (most of the time he's out there with me the whole time), but I don't pay separately for that.
