Going to quote again because hearing 3 times is the magic number to remembering. Catch-22 here. Because of my work/family/life in general schedule, I would desperately prefer that a trainer come to my barn and give me lessons on my own horse. Packing up and hauling to the closest reputable dressage trainer ends up being a 3 hour roundtrip ordeal. I can commit to that haul perhaps monthly, but I'm not doing it every week.I'd gladly reimburse travel costs for the trainer to come to me, but I haven't found any trainers I approve of that will travel. Probably why I haven't had a lesson in over 5 years. Ha!
