Unruli, I chose to "poo poo" the spaying suggestion as I said in earlier posts long before this thread started to get long-winded. I stated MY reasons why I didn't want to and its my choice to do so. You're getting your panties in a bunch because I didn't hop forward and bow to your opinion.
I'm sorry but I'm already firm on my decision and was long before this thread had replies about not spaying her. I'm also not the only one of my opinion and 3 other very reputable members so you cannot turn around like in previous threads of mine and tell me only asshats/irresponsible people think that way.
I'm no less "irresponsible" than TRD as he had intact females on a farm (I believe they're on a farm still?). But because you appear buttsore because I don't leap at the first suggestion given, I'm immediately an ignorant irresponsible person?
I will continue to allow my dog the exercise she needs to stay healthy and comfortable, something that being off leash on the farm does for her that a walk on leash in the city cannot comfortably do.
And again thank you theelitegoldfish for the kong suggestion. I dug up some old kong toys but so far she's shown no interest if they're filled with her kibble so I'm gonna try putting a little bit of peanut butter in the kong a try. She loves that stuffed animals with the crunchy bottles inside but will play with it for 2 days then tear it apart so it was getting costly to keep buying those! Another we usually get is from the meat shop down the street we buy cut off bones that still have some meat on them - she goes crazy for that!
