On the color- My best guess is what AppyButt has already said- That she's a bay or brown with the silver dilute gene. Silver dilute will strip black out of the mane and tail. The stallion shown probably had red coloring in his mane in addition to black. This color genetics site has a photos:

From what I recall, it's pretty cheap to get her color-tested via UC Davis. Ponies seem to pack some very strange color genes around more than big horses. I can't imagine what you'd call her color in a casual sense. Silver-brown? Flaxen chocolate? I love some of the silver dilute colors.

I've wondered what gives Haflingers their color since they're flaxen chestnut and don't have the creme dilute gene that makes a palomino out of a chestnut/sorrel horse. Last I looked, there wasn't much out there on that color but it's been a while. You've inspired me to go poke around online again.
