Elf: All I know is I personally wouldn't be able to do their job. The level of patience and expertise, no way. I'm sure there are crappy nurses, just like there are crappy people in every profession, but I make sure I try to be considerate. I'm sure they get way more than their fair share of crappy patients to deal with and if I can help it, I refuse to be one. Every time I've been in the hospital, I'd have been lost without them. One of the nicest things I think I ever had to experience was when I went in for my biopsy on my thyroid, there was the guy doing it, a nurse helping him, then a third nurse whose sole responsibility, it seemed, was to sit there and hold my hand. It wasn't a pleasant procedure but I'd been through more painful ones, but the stress and all that, having a person just THERE... I could have kissed her.

Cookies: ZOMG, that lead suit thing cracked me up. I SO want a Cardi now. I just don't think my house would be able to withstand the onslaught of two corgis! I caved last night and let Tanner in the bedroom, he just couldn't sleep with me. A few more days and he can be up on the bed and we'll both be happy. My corgi is my therapy. And trust me, I've had my "woe is me" moments. That's what my log-dog is there for...
