Oh, yes. Berners are endlessly concerned with their tummies. They have the "I haven't eaten in YEARS!" look perfected by 7 weeks of age. Twice now I have had to induce vomitting for my girl. Once because she ate a bunch of hay (was watching horses and thought it looked yummy??) And once because she broke into a bag of horse concentrates, which expanded once they hit her stomach. Free feeding does NOT work with them. Their food has to be carefully monitored, and tailored to activity level.

Some funny questions I have gotten:
* Do Berners sleep outside at night? Answer: If you are, sure!
* Can I jog with them? Answer: If they are over two years old, perfect conformation... and there is about 12" of snow on the ground.
