Starting to be (Isabella). If you follow the rules of BMDCC, you have only a chance at 2, maybe 3 litters for each bitch. So if you have this wonderful bitch and want to combine her with say, 4 different studs in her lifetime, it is actually easier on her to only do it in 2 litters. Because breeding to 2 males at once does not mean she has more puppies. She will only have what she can carry. And you get more variety out of that girl. See what combines with her best. At least that is why I would do it.

Now if she is not sure of that stud because of age she should just get a sperm analysis done, but that is just me. Cheaper than DNA testing the whole litter.

And you have put thousands of $ into her. For example; my parent's foundation bitch: if you were to total the purchase price, shipping to Canada, reguar vet fees and feeding, showing costs in Canada and US, health tests, stud fees and whelping costs for her 2 litters, she would be well over $15,000. So the more chances you get at getting that perfect puppy to continue the line, the better.

Which breeder are you looking at (just nosy). You can PM me if you prefer.
