Breathing issues that got progressively worse to the point where she wasn't comfortable as a pasture puff on meds. I made the decision to put her down before the winter as I didn't want to be stuck finding a way to make it happen in January with the ground frozen. I also never wanted to see her look like the stereotypical 'heaves horse'. She came from too bad of a situation for me to ever want her to know another day of suffering.
