I think that being aware and understanding the one/outs of where your food comes from is inportant, and people who don't care or dont want to understand where food comes from is a big issues in our society. I think that if more people spent a day working in a garden andthen getting to eat fresh term beams from a plant they weeded, or watching a milking operation and getting to have a sip of whole milk would go a long way in creating a more sustainable life style.

We raise our own lamb, we buy them from a 4H kid for about 200 bucks each, the are out on pasture and just recently started feeding hay. Our price per lb of lamb is probably around 3-4 bucks a lb, that is still 4$ less then store bought. We also know our lambs are 100% organic, free range and treated well.
