All my ponies were frackin' amazing this week I was proud of Mitch especially. I swapped him back out to a snaffle and training fork, and he's so much more relaxed again. It's time to rethink what kind of bridle to use on him, I think the kid that leased him got him too freaked out about the correction I had on him. He may be happier in a solid port. For now though, I'll keep him in the gear I've got him in and work on consistency, since that's where he's weakest at the moment.

He was a dollface outside though, didn't get tweaked at all about heading back to the barn like he normally does, rode back as quiet as he rode out.

And of course, I almost never have bad rides on Sketch. He's just such a good horse, always tries, never seems to mind when I ask him to step up his game, he's just the coolest thing I've ever thrown a leg over.
