Awwww, thanks, CK   We love you guys and we had a blast today, as did our barn buddies who came along.  Samantha really wanted to take Spotty home.  She may find a way yet.  I told her we have a truck and trailer and we know how to get there now.  My camera batteries were dying, so I didn't get as many good ones as I had hoped.  I hear Stable Boy took loads of pictures with your camera.  Here's hoping you can send them to me in some kind of album.  Samantha mentioned that she would like some of them too.

Here are some of the ones I took:
Butts at the roundbale.  The skinny Belgian breaks your heart

Sophie   *love*

Sophie is soooo skinny though and her feet, there were no words.  She couldn't even walk straight in the back!

"Black 1" is my favorite of the two.  So skinny though.

The pictures don't even show how bad they really are.  And the ones that didn't look as bad physically as "Spotty" were damaged mentally.  Spotty didn't seem aggressive, just very very fearful.  She was shaking, and it took Samantha a lot of time and patience just to be able to work up the rope as close as she was.  She was striking out, not in aggression, but in defense and almost like with anxiety.  With a little luck, maybe Samantha will work out a way to take her after all.  She really liked working with Spotty.

Time will tell.
