For 2013...

Keep working on my riding and getting back to where I was 20 years ago - or as close to it as possible . A few schooling dressage shows would be fun. Get more driving done with the BO's ponies - a schooling CDE in late spring looks like a fun thing to aim for...

I know it might not seem like much to a lot of people (I think you have to have experienced this type of panic/fear to completely understand), but to be somewhere with my horse and PREFER to be IN the saddle vs out. Or to be sitting in the midst of a clinic watching other people's horses misbehave and NOT feel stressed/worried (because, one upon a time, I would have worried that THAT horse's craziness would prompt my horse to act crazy) is just wonderful.

I was in that spot for a few years. After two bad crashes over fences, I went through a long period of having a wave of fear wash over me the minute I sat down in the saddle. No matter how old or well schooled the horse might be. That slowly eased away - and I completely understand how that ^ felt.
