Goflip:  I was actually supposed to get two Marans pullets.  They turned out to be Australorps.  Guess if the attitude problem issue would have held true, guess I came out.  The two girls aren't too dang bright, but they're pretty sedate and they were healthy, so I didn't raise a fuss.  Farm is crediting me the difference, so whenever I want my Wyandotte...  she's already paid for.  I do like having a breed variety in a small flock, so I know who to threaten with the axe for slackin'.  The breeder I got the girls from is willing to do small orders, most places I've seen they want you to order multiples. Normally I wouldn't mind, but I just don't have the room.

Squishy:  Too much!  Too much fluff!!  I'd be tempted to keep her inside the house.  I saw some beautiful Laced Polish at the Farm Show...  makes me wish I had more room.  A few more Polish, a Speckled Sussex, mebbe a d'Uccle or two....

Waffles... the EE "mutt"... bit of a witch,
but a reliable layer.

The two sisters, KC and Bullseye.

And our little Kiev.
Of all of them, she's safe from freezer camp, she's
our little pet.
