I like to keep different breeds so I can tell who is laying, I really like getting green eggs but the araucanas & ameraucanas are one of my least favorite looking chicken breeds.  :/ 

I have a few ameracaunas, 3 blue giant cochins, a silver laced cochin, a silver laced wyandotte, an australorp, a speckled sussex, a golden lakenvelder, a silver campine. The bantys are 2 golden laced cochins, 2 black silkies, a blue silky and a black japanese

Mine never seem to set well, but I gave a barred rock and three silver laced wyandottes who were a little older to a friend and they hatched a bunch of chicks, go figure. Here is a pic of them when they were pullets


I just lost my old roo last week, he was always pretty friendly but the other two took offense to his being there and beat him up to the point we had to put him down
