I agree sometimes it works well in an area that's a manageable size to just walk around and ignore her and see what happens. But if you do the walking down business, the trick is kind of to not be so dang purposeful, just walk in her general direction and if she stops eventually, that's when you take the pressure REALLY off. Like turn around or turn sideways to her completely ignoring her or better yet, walk away a bit and pull some weeds. And when you can lay hands on her, if she's been mostly unhandled, I guess I would forego the catching part for now. A little pet or pat or scratch and then walk away and call it a day for that session.
