I just got a pair of Ariat H20's and was pleasantly surprised they fit my wide foot. I haven't ridden with a stirrup yet, just needed something to get about the ranch and cleaning duties. They are a bit clunky, almost tripped off the mounting block when we took a toodle around the ranch with just the bareback pad. My Mountain Horse ankle boots from many years ago were way more clunky but kept my feet dry. I've brought all my leather goods home for a good cleaning and treatment. I'm hoping the Ariats are ok to ride in, have also been looking at different irons, getting old sucks and "the old gray mare she aint' what she used to be".

Edited to add, I have to get a horse out of pasture which can be deep in mud during the winter so a multipurpose boot fits my style better.
