I quite like my Mountain Horse Rimfrosts. A little clunky, but they're warm and they don't feel restrictive. I did see one girl get dragged because her boot got caught in her stirrup, and I remember moments in my lessons when I would have to lean down and dislodge my boot from my own stirrups (yeah, that was safe). After the student got dragged, however, the barn replaced all their stirrups with safety stirrups. I use safety stirrups too, so it's not a worry and I never get stuck. Of course, having a more stable leg now has also helped prevent the problem!
