I like eponas better, they cover the whole sole and use a dental impression material.

The cuffs are usually a fiberglass and work extremely well to keep glue on shoes from coming off. They do look a little funny but they are quite functional. (You can use casts instead of cuffs, they just require a bit more skill to apply)

The epoxy glue that is used can be pretty noxious and does require a little time to set up. It can be a bit challenging to remove but horses I've seen with lameness issues do really well in eponas or sigafoos, etc. I'm sure the easy boot and renegade glue ons work well too, they also have a new glue on coming out with little wings/cuffs.

I dont have any shod horses but I'm interested to see the new products, they are particularly useful in hoof rehab.
