I can vouch for slow feeders helping with a wood chewer IME. For my horse I imagine it's a combination of boredom and a more sensitive digestive system. The slow feeder helps with feeding and keeps his mouth occupied, which seems to be a thing for him.

Good to know. We are installing slow feeders this year and I was hoping it would help with Constantine's wood chewing. He also constantly needs to occupy his mouth, but gets board with toys after a day or two.
