Omg, your poor friend! I would have laughed too though!

I can't think of anything too funny an instructor has said to me, but if have a favorite comment on a dressage test...it was Beckham's first show of the year, first time at first level, and first time showing indoors, in an arena he had never been in. (This was over 5 years ago.) the way the dressage arena was set up in the arena made it look like you were riding into a white dressage fence, in front of a white fence, in front of a white wall. He hated it and spooked and stopped in every corner. (He hates it to this day...I won't show in it anymore.) there was nothing I could do but get him through it. It wasn't his normal demeanor. In the judges comments "Attractive horse, needs a more cooperative attitude." I tell him this all of the time. Lol!
