Someone who uses tobacco nicotine is a tobacco nicotine user regardless of the choice of delivery system. Is someone who uses heroin via needles any less of a heroin addict than someone who smokes it? You're just getting down to a matter of semantics arguing about delivery systems. Were you smoking cigarettes for the experience of putting a stick to your mouth and inhaling or were you doing it for the tobacco nicotine delivery it provided?

I think if e-cigarettes help you reach the goal of actually quitting using tobacco nicotine, then more power to you. I didn't mean to diminish that accomplishment - just wanted to point out that you are still a tobacco nicotine user and therefore have not quit. It does sound like you are well on your way to quitting however and I applaud you for those efforts. I know how difficult it is to quit completely.

I agree that they aren't the same as traditional cigarettes. I'm not sure why governments or other entities are trying to ban them. I would think overall an e-cigarette is preferential to a traditional cigarette from the non-smokers POV.

Vivian Jaffe: Have you ever transcended space and time?
Albert Markovski: Yes. No. Uh, time, not space... No, I don't know what you're talking about.
