The language you used in your post, GM, such as "once a smoker always a smoker" and "backslide" indicated an addiction to the substances involved in smoking to me, even if you aren't technically smoking. What do you think? It seems like we're getting muddled in the wording here, and I'm wondering if you are avoiding facing something through that. I'm not the one who can truly determine if you're addicted or a smoker, but if you are asking, I'm not convinced that you aren't either as far as can be deciphered in this context even if you aren't using standard cigarettes. If you were able to drop the e-cigs and not experience urges to use them or cigarettes again I would probably think differently.  But ultimately the labels aren't as important as where you actually are, as in are you experiencing urges, how is your overall well-being, and so on.

I will agree with EQ, I do not mean to diminish your efforts. My hope for you is that you will not be complacent in your current state as you have described it if there is room for improvement.

"Just fire up a new window in your web browser for a moment and type in the word 'healing' under Google Images...see what I mean?  It's all colors, lights, hands butterflies, beatific expressions...

the reality of healing any living system is pain, swelling, itching, aches, exhaustion, and chaos."
