Overall, if you were going to try do anything with her, I would drive her. Blinders and bridles hide a great deal of ugly heads.

And the mini world is just like the big horses, with a focus on Arabs, as that's apparently what we all want to be when we grow up.
The same things are judged the same way, I just happen to know the major faults of most minis as that's what I had for years. I am not in any place to tell you what's currently awesome, but I can still pick a good horse out of the line up.

Weak hips, low neck attachments, and short legs (ha surprise) are the biggest issues in the breed, along with heads that are out of proportion. The breed is getting closer to an ideal however.
The new trend with the Rocky E line of shetlands that has been building the past few years is really improving the blood stock from what I have seen.
