Well, if he's been there for years and he was the daughter's first pony, then he could very well be older than 6. He could be in his teens. I was also hoping to show him in the large pony division, but I can't now. At 14.3 and a smidge, there's no way he can get the horse strides. If he is older than I thought, then I'd have to look at selling him or leasing him out now, well he'll still have the best chance of finding a good home and people don't think he's "past his prime".

I think the main reason it bothers me, is that I just want the truth. I want to know where he came from, what breed(s) he is, his age, and why all the lies ? Like, is there some big dark secret they were trying to cover, something we've missed? :S

ETA: I mean, he's a nice horse as is, he's got a great personality, does alright at shows, so the only thing I'd understand about lying about, is the height.(becuase they'd know aswell as I do, he'd never make horse strides.) other than that, why lie about his age, and only having him 3 months?

There is something about jumping a horse over a fence, something that makes you feel good. Perhaps it's the risk, the gamble. In any event it's a thing I need.
