Not sure what we have here, its a city what don't we friggin have?
I was born in St. John's Newfoundland so of course the landmark was Signal Hill/Cabot Tower. I spent many a hour up there, beautiful view. No pictures of it on the computer as we didn't have no fancy digital cams back then lol. Image is too large to post here but here's the link. The angle is over looking the city instead of the ocean.

I spent alot of summers in two small towns. Botwood has the old air base and Killick Island. The island used to have its own population (a whopping 50 people!) There is now a walkway built to connect the island and the town. During WW2 the island was hollowed out in places to make ammunition bunkers.

In Cottrell's Cove a small town with a whopping population of 290 which I'm sure is even smaller now, no stores or gas stations in this little spot. I don't know the landmarks officially but to me it's the scenery.
Where I spend my summers. People on that plot of land are family or friends that are so close they may as well be family. Bears, foxes, moose, rabbits, seals and whales are a frequent sight.
The view out the back door.
I can tell by your tears that you will remember it all.
